The Social Impacts of Long COVID Symposium – registration now open

The Social Impacts of Long COVID online symposium is taking place on 5 March, with 18 presentations spread across two sessions – one in the morning, one in the evening (Australian Eastern Standard Time). The program has been organised to best fit the time zones of presenters, who hail from Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, the USA, the UK, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Several presentations involve co-authors who have lived experience of Long COVID.

  1. Thanks for the invitation to a very relevant webinar to me. I am going to start interviewing people with long-covid next week as a part of a great project within medicine in Norway. Unfortunately, I am occupied the first day for the webinar as a student of mine is defending her thesis on illness and recovery narratives of prior patients with chronic fatigue syndrome. Is it possible to see a recorded version afterwards?

  3. Hi Deborah, Thanks for organising an informative and stimulating symposium, and thanks to all the presenters for sharing their exciting research. I would like some of my colleagues to view the symposium, I was wondering if it had been uploaded yet, A quick google search produced no results.
